15" ET20 8J wheels on ph1 172??

Hi all

As per title really.. will they fit ok? Car isnt lowered or anything yet but i'll probably put some cooksports on at the same time.

Am i going to be suffering any arch scrapage? i'll probably run my 195 tyres so a little stretch, i know its not to everyones taste but each to their own and all that ;)

They will probably rub but is doable it's been done on here if you have a search for rota grid-v's. You'll more then likely have to cut away some of the arch liner, add some camber and stretched tyres like you've said.

Thought that might be the case :)

Any ideas on caliper clearance? Im assuming that being ET20 they will be well clear of the caliper but never like to assume

Et doesn't tell you if it will clear the caliper, it's all in the design of spokes etc (wheel design) although it will between 2 same wheels with different offset ime

Standard oz f1's are ET 37 I think, so running ET 20 will be like running 17mm spacers with standard wheels. So on that basis I would say your be ok.

Excellent! just what i wanted to hear Bobby

I've offered them up and it would seem caliper clearance isn't an issue so im pretty certain with the answers above i'll be ok :)

Next job - get the centre bore machined out :)

No worries, hope you get them on ok.

just noticed your from Eastbourne as well. I don't suppose your running turinis atm?

Ahhh yeah Eastbourne too! Just noticed that! nope standard F1's at the moment. Will be hopfully putting some WRD chevlon mesh wheels on though if i can find a decent place round here to machine out the center bore

Is there another ph1 around here on turinis?
