16v Oil Change STRESS!

Gave my car a mini service the other day.

I Cant belive how much or a ba$tard the oil filter was to get at.

The filter that come off was slightly smaller in length that the one i had to put back on.

What a ball ache. no wonder my hairs receeding.

what a bloody stupid design!!

oh well, at least its done now

Simple answer buy the smaller filter the longer one is the incorrect part anyway just has the same part No. Take your old filter along to the parts dept/shop while the sump is draining oil. By the time you get back with the right one it should be empty!

Thats why I just pay £15 and get National Tyres to do it. Saves my hands and cant do it that cheap myslef for QXR and filter.

I dont trust garage chains. Dont really think thay give a sh*t about peoples cars, I was working near a tyre bay place the other day, you should see how they cane peoples motors about! I think id end up punching someone.

Thing is I wait whilst mine is done and usually drive on and off the ramp myself so nothing at all top worry about.

do they actually drain it at National or do they suck it all out ?
