I'm not on facetube cant be bothered with it. All you do is scroll through pages of shite you dont really want or need to look at.
The forum I find is generally for the people who are into their cars and build them their selves rather than just a Facebook image basically saying
LOOK AT ME I WANT ATTENTION!!

I have plenty of time on my hands m8 I took 2 days to ready Chambers one on and off so yours will be next. I haven't actually read Mark's with his hybrid creation yet so that's on the cards

I don’t mind it rattling so to speak, as I probably won’t hear it over the engine/mounts 😂 but can’t do with it flexing or moving whilst driving 😂

Carbon dash p**n:love: build looks great. How do you find the Hydraulic clutch? Ive been looking at making a similar setup to replace the crap cable on my Extra.

Been busy with the car but haven’t got much to show for it lol.

I’m having to reposition the fuel and bracket hose running along the exhaust tunnel.
Only thing I’ve achieved recently is fitting the coil pack and leads 😂

thanks bud 👍🏻
I haven’t got round to making the hose to link both cylinders yet but hoping it’ll do the job nicely. The brackets etcfrom PMS are really good as you can imagine

Use a spot weld drill bit to drill the spot welds without damaging the floor pan and itll pop straight off

Is spot welded in? That’ll be good if it is.

Yea 99% of cars are spot welded together with a little bit of mig, brazing, panel bonding and rivets along the way.

That panel is 100% spotwelded, if you have a grinder that will work too it's just a rough way to do it that's all. The idea is to minimise damage to the panels you are keeping.

Cheap but it will work. Centre punch the spot welds and the us your battery/air drill at a slow to medium speed to drill the spotweld. If you drill too fast you burn them out. Only drill as deep as the bracket not all the way through the floor pan. If you've drilled it and it's still holding on a bit use a chisel and hammer to pop it off. Easy as that.

Just dont get carried away with it or you'll end up like this!!

I have spot weld drill bits just couldn’t see any spots on that bracket. I’ll look again, maybe hiding under the paint as it’s been repainted.
Thanks 👍🏻

@Simon_16v your not far away only in selby. I'm out Malton way.

That van was a Bodyshop owners van he bought cheap with the full side bent. He bought a full shell minus the front as a donor then I removed the full roof and side as a job lot and fitted all in one peice making sure joints were over lapped correctly and not a cut and shut.

He still runs it now like 8 years on. It's his service/tow vehicle for his mk2 escort rally car.

Trying to tidy up my garage as waiting on parts to continue what I’m doing on the Clio. Seems to be coming together nicely.

Only updates I’ve got is I’ve fitted the ITG filter and fitted the Tilton fluid reservoir.

Where did you get your dash from?

I'm tempted in getting that pedal set up but not 100%.

Do you plan on reaching the epas adjuster when you’re strapped in?

Yeah of course. I can reach it strapped in, I’m lanky with long arms. I’ve thought it through and planned it before drilling any holes 😂😂 I cant cut the stem of the switch down tho lol
There’s the rain light switch the other side aswell.
