172 high idle, tapping & misfire.

Hi all
I'm new to Clio ownership and not long had my 172.
It's been a brilliant car and has ran perfect for 2 months but lately the idle has shot up to 1500 revs, the engines developed a loud tapping that gets faster with revs and also a misfire on idle. The tapping is always there, but the misfire goes as soon as you rev it or start driving.

It has fuel, spark and good compression. It drives perfect, no loss of power and still getting 35mpg.

Anyone? I'm new to everything clio related and after checking all the basics Im stumped.

I'd try the throttle body, might need cleaning. Spark plugs too

For one, it seems to have a minor misfire! Secondly, between the car being fine and this occurring, have you done anything to it?
