172 V’s Scooby

hi, I just bought a 01 wrx last week, the other half still has the 172 but havent had a race yet........ the wrx feels like a completely different level altogether, huge power surge and then BANG...gone. Itll be interesting to see how the 172 does at keeping up. What do you reckon?

Anyone any exps with the WRXs?

My mates got the new bug eyed standard WRX and the cup is level all the way - The scooby justs picks the post to 60 but the cup gains a bout half a length at a tonne and stays ahead to the redline - both standard motors except his has tints on his windows (something to hide I reckon!) The standard 172 would have a slightly harder time though, but the Mk1 172 stays level also.
