172, what phase ?

hi all so what year is considered a phase 2 172 then is it the sort of Y reg onwards when they started putting coulour coded trim on the outside of the doors etc with the alloy 2.016v badge etc mine is a 2002 172 so is this a phase 2 etc etc sorry to sound a little dumb only had it couple of weeks and not no much about them yet ?

The facelift model with the nicer headlights, amongst other things, is a phase 2.

Only a few of them had it as an expensive option.

PH2 headlights are kinda triangular, PH1 headlights are round.

ahhh got it now mine is a 2002 phase 2 with xenons triangular headlights etc and the nicer grill etc cheers all
