My car is due the above service and im considering doing it myself becuse i have been qouted £209 by reno which i reckon is well steep.

What oil do I need and Parts?

What are the implications to my warranty of carrying out services yourself.

Well you wont have proof that it was done by the stamp in the book. Phone around you will get different qoutes.

You should be able to get it done cheaper, ring a few dealers and play them off should be about £160.

Oil is 5-40 I'd recomend Silkline pro that seems to be given rave reviews so well worth a few extra pounds.

A.clark warrington £150 quid, ring them confirm it and then try and get your local dealer to match it. Worked for me in the past!!
