Right for some unknown reason my car wouldnt start... Turned the key and nothing. Called the AA and the bloke said its a common problem with clio's and its a loose/dirty connection on the starter.

A small wiggle later and up she fires.
All has been well for 2 weeks then suddenly it happens a few more times.
So how am i best to attack the starter from above and take the inlet off or below. I dont have access to ramps just a trolley jack and any ideas which lead its likely to be ?

Thanks

are you trying to take the starter off or just get at the connections?

either way i find its best to go at it from above, i dont take the manifold off, but it can get frustrating when trying to remove it so take your swear box with you ;)
