if this is the matt black painted one it was in performance gti, but they had not had it running then. should be quick, but why estimate quater mile times till you have actually done them.

It is 4x4 its just the wheels are seperatr one engine for the front one for the rear. Its a good idea works fine.

You'd need to sort the gearing out and the gearbox out or go automatic on both. Its doable by why use 2 172 engine or 2 v6.

why not just use one v6 engine in the back? Would still be one hell of a beast!
Renault V6 engine way to heavy for the HP forget using it is a waste.

Yep Clio V6 shell is the same as the normal Clio shell.

Is the chassis the same though?
In essence yes.
Its a bit like Focus rally car and a focus road care are the same they are but the amount of different bits is huge the under floor subframe the biggest thing mechanicaly.
I went up to Wolverhampton to see this M P Developments twin engined Clio a few weeks ago to have a look around.
I was gutted because the rear engine was out having some work done on it so didn't even hear it running.
Its amazing what they managed to achieve with limited space and tools they had.
I've got a few photos but nothing special.
From what the guys were saying the main problem they have at the moment is trying to stop the rear engine jumping out of gear.

the first time they ran it was on the fast car shoot so only had the trip meter to estimate as far as i can tell lol....who knows...
just thought id raise this from the past, Im CO-owner of the car, we have never made any estimates on times to anyone, no timing was done on the fast car shoot as they cudnt get hold of the equipment, but watch the space in the new year, as most problems we had are nearly sorted!
