if people can get VAG lumps to fit, no reason a 225 lump wont fit, if you know what your doing!

I had one a few years back to put in my 182, but decided to sell it, and the car.

bloke bought it and put it in his Renault Spider!!!

engine and box wont fit striaght in - fabrication work would be required.

Personally i would stay clear and stick to the VAG kit

yeah, but i dont really think it was a whole hearted attempt! well if you call putting the engine in the space let from the old engine, dangling from a crane, an attempt!

like MATT said, would need fabrication work, but certanly not impossible!

VAG all the way, awesum tuning protential with a lot of tryed and tested products on the market.

as for the 225, nice lump that, however itll take ALOT of work to mount that box - its huge, i toyed with the idea of putting the 225 lump in the bk of my RWD 5, UNTIL i saw the size of it!!!
