428 cams

hi all, just about to have my cambelt changed as my dephaser is noisey, just wondering if fitting some good condition used 428 cams with a decat and having it mapped would be worth doing? they work out at under £200 extra fitted as they come with a good dephaser, words of wisdom appreciated as im ready to commit either way

if you're about to do the belts and dephaser than yes, do it.

Are you fitting a second hand dephaser ?

Yes it's second hand but fairly new, what's the realistic power gain? And will it lose much bottom end? Thanks for the responses

No one changes a dephaser if it ain't 5 years old or noisy ! Fit. New one no point goin to all that expense then fitting it all back together only for it to start rattling a few months later
