A bit of help please regarding bearing life span

Hi , i have had a few issues with my front suspension recentley , i was getting a slight humming noise when steering sharp at right hand bends so i suspected front nearside bearing ,prior to that i have had new shocks, springs ,track rods and lower ball joints so today i had a new driveshaft and front wheel bearing fitted as a matter of course asthe car is aproaching 115k (1.5dci 05), however i took it for a good test drive and low and behold i am still getting the huming noise right hand down ,i didnt suspect the rear bearings as offside rear is less than 12months old and rear nearside was fitted august 09 as iremember excactly when it went on me.After a quick jack up of the car i spun the rear wheels and their is a slight rumble from rear nearside , if it is on its way its only done 15000 miles at most , it was a aftermarket bearing but is this normal as i dont carry passengers and a heavy load,i am hoping its the bearing as its a cheap fix but after going through all the new front suspension parts i am a bit annoyed that my problem could be a rear bearing with aprox 15k on it.

  a low one
That post was long and my eyes couldnt concentrate for that long but it could be a bearing, maybe aftermarket one was cheap and collapsed?

or possibly maybe even a wheel catching an arch liner ever so slightly and creating a humming? if its not a bearing id probably give up on chasing it if its not getting any worse.

Its french afterall!

It was a bit long wasant it , i was still in work mode. ...You have mentioned something i never thought about ,tyre catching inner arch ,as the plastic inner arch cover as lost a plastic clip and is a bit lose.

have a look at that then mate, if you take your wheel off you may be able to see some wear on the arch liner. or clip it back and see if it stops the noise.
