I meant its just another Renault in the same way as a 206 GTI is just another Peugeot and a ZR is just another Rover.
As a car its quite nice and in my opinion better than the above, but ultimately its just another average car owned by Mr or Mrs average, and as such gets treated in an average way. When it is just too dirty it goes through the carwash...
If it were a Bentley or something it wouldnt go near the carwash, Id get the butler to clean it.
have to agree lol, if it was a brand spankin new one fair enough
Totally agree with all that mate!Quote: Originally posted by Loony on 07 March 2005
i dont know personally, even though its a "cheap" car my 182 is still a major financial investment for me and normally a car is secondly only to a house in terms of major purchases so why not protect it and keep it looking good by cleaning it in a way which wont damage the paint. you will be protecting its resale value and keeping it looking tidy while you own it, you show me a man who likes to see a car with swirl marks in the paint and ill show you a man who likes to eat his own sh*t.
you would be suprised at the amount of cars I see at work that have had some harsh abrasive stuff used to get some marks off, amazes me why people do it.Quote: Originally posted by darswold on 07 March 2005
