Afternoon

  lots of hire cars
Afternoon,

I'm currently looking for a new car, not 100% sure which way to go at the moment as the sensible move would be something semi practical but after driving a micra for 18 months as a cost saving measure I want something fun.

I've been looking at Mazda 3 sports, fiesta st and a few other things that might fit the criteria. One being the 182.

I've got a history of buying French tat but never had a Renault, always liked the renaultsport stuff from the ph1 to the 200's, the Clio trophy is one of the best handling fwd cars I've been in.

Probably looking at a £3k budget to buy outright with no finance, I'm moving house in a couple of weeks and have a wedding next year to pay for so not going to stretch myself.

Going to have a look around and see if I can find enough to make my decision easier.

Thanks,

Pete

Got a couple of bits to sort out on the current car, a deer trying to cross the A1 meant a cracked front bumper and arch liner somewhere near Stevenage, but then it'll be up on autotrader and when sold I can go looking properly. Seen one locally I might look at as a part ex would be easier, it seems to tick the right boxes but you don't know until you look;

The commute consists of A roads, motorways and dual carriageways (Milton Keynes) plus the other half and I car share in to work so would be week on week off driving. If it can hit 35-40 on a run and keep me amused it will be ideal.
