Air conditioning regas - where?

My aircon was last regassed in 2012 and its stopped being properly cold now so I need to get it regassed. I tried halfords, but they just do the DIY in a bottle affair and have no ability to detect or trace leaks etc.

Who have people used recently that they would recommend?

Most garages offer it tbh..even Kwik fit.

Yea if you wait a month or so most garages will be doing an offer on it, they'll usually roll a advertising board outside.

Halfords Autocentre do it IIRC, as do most other chain garages.

Yeah garages will be charging about £30 to do it soon. A few locals have already started.

Get yourself a uv torch and yellow glasses.

You'll be sure to find the leak.

I'm in Aberdeenshire, but it tends to be larger chains who have the kit and they'll be nationwide.

Sometimes you can find offers on groupon... Last year done mine for 19.99 I bought voucher this year as well (same price) but unfortunately I smashed aircon radiator so dont need it really

I did mine at Kwikfit for £20, but then I knowaguy.

Kwikfit use an automated machine anyway so it's not easy to f**k it up. Have a look on here for the amount of refridgerant you need.
