Guys,
My knowledge of cars is going to be no where near as much as some of you guys so this description might be quite poor..
firstly i will say i have just put a Clio V6 air box onto the car.. Due to this wanting a mammoth air in take i thought i would run a new one BUT....
1) What is the unit connected to the end of he standard feed (is it some sort of choke)
2) I have taken out the unit .. can i .. cant i?
3) obviously this unit has the small diameter so would restrict air flow if i was to put it into my new air intake.
4) the tube that goes from the unit to the intake manifold .. is this for vacuum? what do i do with it if i do remove the unit?
Hope this makes sense any help would be appreciated.
