Been on here a few months now so though i would start a build thread, basically i bought my clio 172 as a project track day car. Had my eye on it for a while after seeing it sitting in a car sales place with no price so i managed to get it really cheap
My daily driver is a Civic type R EP3 that i have spent a fortune on modifing it to its current spec, my plans where to use it on track but its worth too much money to me for something to go wrong so thats where the clio comes in
The car is a 2000 172 with 81,000 miles on it, first thing i done when i got its was get it into the garage for a timing belt, waterpump, and also got the air con removed.
When the clio was getting the timing belt done we came across the drivers side engine mount was fecked so ordered up the vibra technics one from K tec, also fitted my Pipercross viper kit as the standrd air box was cracked.
Got a massive list of parts that i am collecting to get my clio to the spec i want it, parts list below that i have sitting waiting to be fitted
Koni adjustables
Eibach sportlines
182 manifold and link pipe
Powerflex pollybush kit for front arms and anti roll bar
Powerflex dogbone mount bushes
EBC yellow stuff front pads
EBC red stuff red pads
National autoparts performance discs front and rear
New front calipers
New rear calipers
New brake cables
Full set of wheel bearings front and rear
New bolts from renault for the shockers, suspension arms, anti roll bar mounts
New track rod ends
New ball joints
Stud kit to convert the hubs to nuts instead of bolts
My loft is full with stuff, hopefully get pics up of the bits this weekend
Comments welcome, good or bad
