Finally I have bought a TV. MINT. Kenwood £300 of ebay, sound. Just wondering if anyone else on heres got a TV/SAT NAV in their Clio/172.

Never updated the page to show the sat-nav, but I had it installed for a while, was very handy sometimes, but just didnt use it enough to justifiy the ££££

Errr, watch this space....fitting a tv shortly just waiting for bits to arrive.

A few people have done this, Daz and _KDF have I know for sure, check out the ice gallery think theres a couple in there. _KDF posted pics in media when I asked about screens so check there out as well!

Yea, same. Screen sat in glovebox all the time..

If I had a fold out screen, Id have probably kept it - Thinking about getting some sunvisor screens and DVD unit now.. I miss watching Alan Partridge in traffic jams..

My screen was only available in dash top.. so had to keep moving it about, which was causing damage.. also the cables didnt come out (well they did, but its not the best connection) so I had to leave the cables in.. so I had trailing cables. I couldnt get a VGA Touchscreen fold out screen.. nor did people sell them at the time.

Im currently selling my screen.. (already sold PSU) and might put the money towards the sunvisors and dvd.. dunno yet.. hehe.

When you say TV, do you mean a TV tuner box? has anyone got any experiences of these? what are they like if you drive around (local area I mean).

I got Kenwood motorised TV with built in tv tuner.

yep, got a tv tuner box, I think my aerial was put in my rear bumper.Normally it gets a good picture but does struggle at times.

Ive got sat nav, best £500 i ever spent, not use it that mcuh, but when i do its invaluable, esp when navigating spaghetti junction. TomTom2 and ipaQ 1940, all bluetooth, so all wireless, will get some pics 2morrow of the set up if your interested.
