Anyone worked with Carbonfibre before

Need to know what the best way to cut a 4mm thick sheet is?

Is it just a case of using a jigsaw with a very fine blade? Will this cause the sheet to Chip?

Anyone got any other suggestions?

ive cut it before, however the edges were not going to be visible so i didnt try my hardest to get a good finish

i asked the advice of the guy making the carbon fibre and he said to use masking tape on the area you are cutting to avoid chips and not to scratch the surface

he also said to use a fine toothed jigsaw blade that is brand new, dont use a worn one, and then cut maybe 1mm inside what size you actually want, then use fine grade sandpaper to get the edges just right

Also interested in hearing from anyone who can actually work with the raw fibre and resin from Molds for one off jobs if anyone knows of a company that is willing to take on new projects..
