Why did Microsoft get fined nearly 500 million ove windows media player yet Apple can force you to buy apple everything, won't be suprised if you HAVE to have a Mac to work with the iPhone.

The camera is actually auto-focus 2 mega pixel!!!
And theres no 3G because it has edge which gives it better battery life. Edge is currently only 2.5G but edge extreme is coming out in the new year which will provide 3.5G and is faster than 3G.
The user interface is fantastic and has to be seen to be believed!!!

Most Telco's are running 3.5G NOW ;-) And NGN will be here early next year.
I wouldnt buy a phone at the mo without 3G, but maybe in the future when things have been sorted.
Apple are being a bit of a pain with this really, money grabbers i think. Locking exclusive deals with networks etc.
But i spose they all do it one way or another.

Ive not long got one of these......awesome phone....On paper it dont sound to good.....But the way it works with the touchflow ...Its brilliant.
I wasnt going to get one at the start but after getting it im selling all my other phones...Its that good.
There will be a workaround for the latest update (i hope) but im sticking with the firmware thats on mine at the minute it just works and works very well.

The same reason people buy Ipods...they look pretty.
Never mind the fact that there are numerous MP3 players which do a better job, have far superior sound quality and are cheaper.

ACTUALLY the Ipod sound quality is pretty DARN good. The DAC chip in there is good piece of kit and gives great sound quality, the problem is people expecting something special out the shitty included headphones, its like bolting a £60 pair of speakers to £3K worth of pre amp, power amp and cd player.
The Ipod IMO has the best user Interface out of any Mp3 player and I have used loads, it does what it does and doesnt try to pretend to be something else IMO.
Same with the MAC OSX. I havent played with an Iphone but REALLY want to as I couldnt give a s**t about 3G, 5MP cameras, I was going to buy an ipod touch but to be honest if the there is a way round unlocking with the latest firmware I would consider an unlocked one.

Yeah I was reading an article somwhere about how some firm have developed running code for VOIP applications and that AT&T in the states are shitting themselves a wee bit LOL

You get what you pay for, like when you bought a 172 you got a car that performed as well as a car that was more money but it has its reasons for being cheaper. Its the same with tech.
Considering the only Apple thing you have probs spent time with is an ipod I dont see how you can brand everything Apple gay!
