Hi all,
I have a 172 Cup (withtout aircon), and a couple of weeks ago my Aux Belt started to make a squeeling noise everytime I started the car and would last around 10-15 seconds.
Last monday the 20th, I had the Aux Belt changed for a new renault one at Renotec specialists in Chelmsford and everything has been fine since, and no squeeling on startup at all.
Then this morning I started it up for work, and it squeeled again for around 2 seconds.
Has anyone got any ideas as to what could be causing it too squeel again?
I have heard cold and damp can affect the belt and it did rain quite alot overnight but I dont think it is that to be honest.
So can anyone shed any light?
