Battery- Detailed info request.

  182
Evening all,

I know there are a load of threads on battery's, however, they all basically give the standard details that 063 is the correct size for the clio 1*2.

What does the AE*** mean?
what does the **Ah ***A mean?

Does anything matter other than it being the 063, as long as you get the 063 will any be fine?

hopefully someone can advise further and it may help others also.

well Ah stands for Amp-Hour(s)

i.e 45Ah means it can supply 45A for 1 hour before it's drained

other numbers followed by A are probably cold cranking amps (CCA)

  1.2 16v clio
i would personally buy a bigger amp hour/ cold cranking amp battery as it will be better during the winter

Really useful info guys, thank you.

The only thing that puts me off the Bosch is the grey colour of it haha, sound daft but it would annoy me, i like the black ones, look much smarter in the bay.

Had been thinking about it actually, still undecided if they are a bit tacky though. Plus are they worth the money?

The original Vectra had a battery cover with a press stud top. Not sure if I was insulted but you could bag one for nothing from a scrappie.
