Lots of time spent giving the Cup a thorough clean over the last couple of weeks (been made redundant!), still rough as f*** close-up (battle scars aplenty), but I think from a distance it's not too shabby.

Nope, been pretty quiet. Registered with all the usual agencies, got to final stage interview for a maternity cover position at Goodwood, got nothing but positive feedback but ultimately lost out to a lesser qualified candidate, grrr.

We've cut back expenses where necessary (got a huge 'balance' of Tesco clubcard vouchers to dine out on!), so should be OK for a few months yet before I need to start liquidating things.

Quite enjoying it if I'm honest. Time with the girls, and three cars to stroke, hence the attention lavished above.

First time I've ever really properly cleaned it since December 2003, shocking how bad the front is, loads of bad chips, and some rust is gently starting to bubble around the bonnet edges.

You can tell you're not a regular photo poster. Most of them do as you've done wit the first and last. They just don't show you the bad bits and keep those hidden!
