Black Gold 182 - As smooth as glass!

Hi all,

Thought I'd give the 182 a going over this afternoon - and also to try out my new DA polisher that I bought from i4detailing a few weeks back.

No before pics ... however the car was filthy!

I've read a few articles on detailing, I knew it wasn't going to be easy - and I was right!

I did manage to get a few swirls out, but nothing that made me think that I did a good job - I guess practice makes perfect and all that ...

However, I did manage make the car very shiny with some snow foam, Dodo juice clay and the Auto Glym High definition wax kit that I bought from Halfrauds earlier today.

Done mine today. Nothing beats a BG when its clean. Shame it'll only last a few ays like mine does

Yep ... and the swirl marks are awful!

Need to seriously start practising and get them out of the bodywork before the winter comes!

Yeah I've been there with the swirls. Most of mine have gone now using a DA polisher and some Tropi-Care Swirl Cutter Plus. Worked a treat using some strong pads with the DA.

I got the kit from Matt ... may need some stronger pads!

nice reflections........... bought a DA last week will be having a go at getting rid of the swirls on my car when i've got more time, have only tried it on the petrol tank of my bike so far. did manage to get rid of quite a few marks. was happy for my 1st attempt

Bought some high definition wax and used the polisher to buff it all up ...!
