Blowout followed by bang bang bang bang

Had my 1st blowout today, is it normal for it to keep banging until stopped, maybe it was just due to my speed

it just sounded strange and well as if something was serious wrong

got the tyre replaced and all looked fine, well the guy said my hub was broke

He said it came away from the disc or some crap like that, I know nothin about mechanics so don't know, he just said it had snapped

Rear, I thought maybe it's meant to be like that somthing to do with needing to replace a few things when rear brakes went

who knows, it's obviously not a problem as he said it's safe and has nothin to do with mot

You might want to get that checked out before the hub comes clean off with the wheel attached and kills someone. It's happened.

If the rear stub axle had snapped you'd have known about it. your wheel and rear disk would have overtaken you as you stopped.

Might have been your rear wheel bearing making the banging noise if it had failed in a bad way? Unlikely to be but the description from your garage is quite fague lol.

I'm gettin the tracking done on Friday, will get him the check over everything

If the rear stub axle had snapped you'd have known about it. your wheel and rear disk would have overtaken you as you stopped.

Echos my point above really. The stub axle is the only thing holding the rear disk and wheel on. If it had snapped you'd know it.
