Bullet/Dog Cameras

  Clio Sport 172 Ph2
Been toying with the idea for a few months now ready for my trip to the Ring in July ...had bought a pair of wireless CMOS cameras and a receiver...this setup turned out to be quite pants

To record from that setup needed an AV recorder of some kind and so this week Ive bought a solid state recorder that allows an AV device to be plugged in and recorded from. The device allows for 375 minutes of recording to a 2GB SD card

The only thing now is the camera itself...

Been looking at a few and the CCD sensor 420TV Lines (or above) pinhole versions seem to be the ones to go for...they range from around £30-£150 depending on the bits and pieces you need to buy...

Will also need to buy a suitable mic for it too (although it has an internal one I doubt itll be up to the job) :)

Anyone bought anything like this before? Tips?

I've got a 520 line bullet cam setup linked to a sony miniDv camcorder and operated by a lanc remote switch. Works really well.

Am shortly about to start selling bullet cam kits myself .
