Clean headlights?

Just wondering what is the best way to clean headlights on a mk2 mtv special edition? Cheers

One that came with the MTV stereo IIRC. . .

Best bet is to get some super resin polish on them to clean up the plastic. A bit more info would be good however, what part you want to clean, in what way is it dirty etc etc.

They have just faded really, seen a post on here where a guy has cleaned them with something but he didn't say how he did it!

You mean the plastic has faded? Best bet is to get some Auto Glym Super Resin Polish from your local motorstore/halfrauds.

Failing that, get someone to machine polish them. Where are you based?

The guy I said about before wetflatted the headlights then used a PC to bring back the shine?
Whats wetflatted and PC?

Not a problem.

Wetflatted means using an abrasive such as wet and dry paper to get rid of the worst of the fading. This use very very fine grit paper.

A PC is a Porter Cable, which is a type of machine polisher. I am very happy to do this for you since I own a PC, I am located in south manchester if you are interested.
