Clio 1.6 Dynamique Castor Issue

  182 Trophy #333
Hi All,

a friend of mine has a clio 1.6 dynamique, car drives and handles fine but the drivers wheel is noticeably further back towards the rear of the wheel arch than the passenger wheel. Looks really odd! We didnt really notice it when he first got the car but after fitting some sportlines and checking the arch gap it became very noticeable.

Any ideas guys?

Cheers

previous owner hit a curb hard?

Quite possibly as the alloys looking pretty scuffed up and there's a scratch on the bumper, just pondering the most likely culprit part so we can sort it out, not had a chance to jack it up and take a proper look!

my friend had this with his car, i cant remember the name but it look like an A peg kind of thing that connects the axle and the wheel?

Had the same problem on my old golf, nothing looked bent but i replaced the wishbone and all was good!

It'll have been smacked, if the wishbone isn't bent or replacing doesn't correct it then the subframe has twisted (and possibly the chassis with it). Was what happened to my old one after an intervention with a curb.
