Clio 172 Question

I missed out on the other one i wanted cos the garage wouldn't come and go

But now looking at a silver 04 plate through my work. 19k on the clock full spec bar cruise and speed limiter. This is one thing putting me off :S

Wat would yous do? Take it or look for one with those features? It's a fantastic price and looks to be mint

Did 172's come with cruise control? Also, not sure what you mean by speed limiter matey.

But, no, don't let those put you off. I have never understood the point in cruise control on RenaultSports... If the price is reasonable, then that could be a bargain.

Depends on your driving as to wether those featuresw are worth it - if you spend your life going up and down the motorway then they might be useul to you. I very rarely use the CC on mine and never used the speed limiter. Im suprised it doesnt have it on an 04 - is it a FF or a cup

19k on an 04 plate is super-low mileage! If it's been serviced right (i.e. every year, regardless of mileage) and well looked after - and if they're not after a silly premium because of the mileage, then it could be a greay buy!!

A 172 on an 04 reg is very rare. Iirc a dude on here has one, his is silver too.

I have an 04 172 on 16.5k.....no CC, not fussed either.

I have an 04 reg silver 172 with cruise control. Like has already been said if you do alot of motorway driving it can come in very handy,i use it on the rare occasions when i'm driving on the motorway but other than that you will probabley never use the cruise control so dont let it put you off buying the car

mine is a 53 plate and dosnt have CC. You still get the esp/traction control though and they are more important imo.

Cruise Control is definitely worth having, but if its cheap and mint I wouldn't worry about it.

Servicing and Cam belt change isn't a problem for me as i get labour at half price and parts at cost due to working for a major car company.

Went and seen a salesman at work today, car sold yesterday Gutter need to keep looking. I never have luck when trying to find a car i really want

I will be doing a lot of motorway driving soon if things go to plan so Cruise control will be an advantage
