The EJM one was a standard car, was done up for the Dunlop Maxx series. It has standard suspension iir, has been done to a high standard though. I've sat in it every now and again when I visit the place lol.

it's running bilstein race setup and it's go quaiffe slip diff, so not a bad track toy for someone.

Really want the second one though :D

Only way to make the 2nd 1 road legal is to do it illegally. The shells have no i.d and they would never pass emmisions.

The 2nd 1 is a bargin, i paid 12k for mine 12months!

I might buy it for the spares alone!

^^ Exactly Tim, when you consider the cost of the box and suspension, it's practically the car value. If I could buy it I would have by now :(

Quite why anyone would build a high spec track car, when cup racers are this cheap i have no idea lol ...

I was thinking the same mate. Buy that, and it will be setup much better than any diy build. Put bodies on it and it will be a weapon :approve:

If it was also road legal then I'd agree with you. Wonder what it would take to make it legal?

You can't make them road legal......legally.

The guys that run them in rallying just use the i.d off a old rhd car nd convert it, but they don't go on the road much.

A muppet who tries to build 1 of the cup racers into road legal format will get nicked by the plod quite soon.

Go to the DVLA, get it tested, road legal.

How do you think kit cars are built, do they have ID plates? Same as custom builds, or Q plate cars.

so i say it can be done and you wont get nicked!

Dunno bout the later one but the early one will fit. Just needs the cat modding to account for h pattern linkage & imagine would be pretty tedious if you use it on your road car.

Isnt most of the typical noise you mean from the straight cut box though? Good luck with replicating that on the cheap :)
