Clio sport 172 headlights

Hi I'm looking to replace the bulbs in my xenon headlights in my 172 and I want to get hid's. Iv read online that I just need to replace the bulbs with D2S hid bulbs, is this correct??

If you have xenon lights as standard you will just need to replace the DS2 bulb providing this is the problem.

There is no point in getting HID's as they are just a "Wanna Be" xenon headlight.

I'm just looking for something a little brighter and more blue. Would I not need a ballast aswell?

Not need a ballast if the bulbs are blown or discoloured.

You can buy D2S bulbs from here in standard colour (Temp) or you can get ones that are lot bluer

Yeah seen some on eBay for £12:50 for just bulbs. 10000k ones so might just get them, defo just straight swap?
