Crank Sensor

Got a bad misfire and think I need a new crank sensor. Last time cleaning the sensor cured the problem but it's come back worse than ever, struggling to do 50, exhaust is popping and revs are jumping up and down wildly :dapprove:

Is this a Renault only part or can I get it cheaper from a motor factors?

probably a good idea to plug in proper diagnostics. Can really help pinpoint the problem without guessing

Last time on diagnostic it was recording 180rpm when engine wasn't on and cleaning sensor fixed it. In last six months I've changed the plugs, leads and coilpack so can probably rule them out.

Fitted a new crank sensor after work and car is fixed now. Cost 25 quid from Camberley Auto Factors so thankfully a cheap fix
