Cup or 406 V6 master cylinder

I'll be removing my ABS soon and need to get hold of a new master cylinder.

With standard brakes or even 4 pots with an equivalent piston area, is it worth getting the 23.8mm 406 V6 cylinder or just stick to the cup 22mm cylinder?

I don't want it to be overbraking all the time, especially if I'm pushing it on track but an improvement would be nice.

I never had problems with my cup cylinder and 225 Brembos, the pedal actually improved from the single piston calliper IMO, the brakes would bite nearer the top and it was easier to modulate.

I like the standard cup m/c with my AP 4pots although I did run it with the vacuum pipe blocked off at first until I got used the the better brakes
