Detailed car/FCS prep/ASW

Hi,

Never really done an "I've cleaned my car" thread so thought i'd do one as i've been bust the past few days. here goes!

Firstly I started with the rear of the car, had it up on stands to clean & seal the wheels and clean the arches and exhaust (although it's a week old ).

I'm still not happy with how my rear bumper sits after re-fitting it. seems "loose" although all the same bolts etc have been used. oh well. what you think?

Really happy with how the wheels have come up. this pic was just after cleaning them. I then gave each 2 coats of Poorboys Wheel Sealant.

Was a bit half arsed with cleaning the arches but some bits still came up ok..

then i hit the front end...

got angry with these brackets as they've been causing some arch rub propblems on hard cornering. hopefully i've done enough! don't think i can afford to keep buying new dremel cutting discs

again was a bit lazy with the arches but they've come up ok

then i headed outside to clean and clay...

For clay i just used megs clay as I had some left, with last touch as lube cheers for the recommendation from JD and RichChump

ended like this...

then bed.

Today I just finished up really. Re-cleaned the car as well as cleaning door & boot shuts.

Then SRP'd followed by Viccys Concours wax. I used Meguiars glass cleaner for the windows, Meguiars endurance tyre s**t and ClearKote rubber&vinyl dressing on the black bits!

Mine's the same. They were made in France, for the French who have LHD cars and they were too lazy to swap them over.

No you're right, I'm not. I'm on the Performance-On-Track stand, we're in zone 1. I'm on that stand because it's a club myself and a group of friends started so it's happy days think I mentioned it to you at the last meet? I'll try and catch you if I can at some point during the day!

it will go slightly higher but it'd make the rear hanger near solid in doing so. I'll have a think and maybe a fiddle before FCS. lol.
