Diesel dci 65bhp very little power??

  Clio Dci 65
I bought a clio dci 65bhp last night

great looking car its the dynamieqee spec but no AC like it was advertised :( not too bothered tho,

One question

when i put my foot on the accelerator theres almost no power untill almost touching the floor with the pedal? but there is plenty of power when its right down to the floor.

First gear might as well not be there theres just no power.

do i just hae to ride around with my foot planted on the floor?
Is this normal as ive only driven a very very old hyundai petrol car for the past 2 years

i also put this questio in the media section if someone could delete it please

A dci isnt fast by no means, but that doesnt sound right.. I used to own one and its was pretty torquey, almost never floored it..

Diesels don't perform as well when floored.

Really, you don't floor diesels, as it tends to over fuel them, which means slower acceleration.

Well, it does my 1.8tdci focus.

  Whichever has fuel
So you bought a car with no aircon when the seller said it had aircon, and you bought a car that seems to have a faulty engine....

They saw you coming mate.

Take the s**t back.
