Difference between a Front Valance and a Front Bumper

Thought i might cristen dis new forum wit a stupid question: What is the difference between a Front Valance and a Front Bumper? For example in Prima Racing website they have a difference but i cant see it!

mate a fron valence is something that you stick to the bottom of the origionla bumper and a front bumper is a complete new front end!!!normally a new front bumper will change the look much more

Isnt that a front splitter? I dont know, these technical terms just confuse me..he he

A splitter sticks out, usually horizontally, beyond the original line of the bumper. A valance hangs down and makes the bumper deeper. Some things are called splitters which arent really splitters ie Seat Ibiza splitters or Laguna splitters. They are just a valance really.
