Do the AA carry a clip diagnostic machine?

my mum as AA homestart so tempted call them out if they have a clip and get the fault code read and reset

I don't know if they all do but I called them out once when i had my company car, and they reset a warning light.

think ill drop them a bell now, cars running fine so wondering if the light just needs a little help being turned off lol

to reset any faults, remove the neutral terminal of the battery, but only do this if ya stuck on the motor way.. miles from home and not bothered about the actual code

Im 99% sure all their patrols do, as long as they don't send you a contractor

my old dear had an engine light on and they stuck some sort of diag on it.. they replace the sparkies thinking they were the fault and either turned the light off or it went off by itself...



either way its back on again a day later

ye aa and rac carry diagnostic equip does most cars , not as in depth as dealer equipment but quite good .

yup just had the aa out and they cleared the faults for me. top service. only cost me the price of a brew hehe

This doesn't remove all fault codes depends on the seperity of the code.
