As the title. It's not as described.

The exhaust has a big crack in it "repaired" with exhaust paste.
The slam panel has holes drilled into it so the super powerful induction kit can get air.
The gearknob spins round and round.
Steering wheel is knackered.
Seller hadn't even cleaned the s**te out of it (empty oil cans, jump leads etc.)
The splitter is missing.
Used to have stripes on it, the spoiler still has 2 tatty ones left on it, and it appears to have had a poor attempt at wet sanding/polishing where the stripes were.
Breathes very heavily.
Rear bumper has a mysterious crack/chemical reaction in it, apparently caused by tomato ketchup and a jetwash.
Probably hasn't done 42000 given it's state.

Ignore it, unless you're after something that'll need work to get up to standard.

i hate viewing a car when its not accurately described, it just wastes everyone's time, whilst the seller hopes on a wing and a prayer that the viewer will be smitten and buy. threads like this are a good idea :)

I picked up my ff rb 182 for 3500 a few months ago and admittidly it was on 85k but it had full service history, really well looked after car, and the car was spotless, I did have to replace the fog lights as they were cracked (this was in the advert too), i also had it serviced for its first time and it recieved a clean bill of health from the garage. Bargins are there to be had just be carefull, i took a mate along who has had a few 172's and he pretty much went over it whth a fine toothed comb.

When looking at the advert you got to ask yourself, why is it so cheap?

Because no one,s willing to pay good money for them mate mine was for sale for ages not 1 phone call.
I've resorted to putting it back to standard.
