door creaking

Evening all..

not sure if its a common fault as cannot find anything via a search. When opening my drivers side door its making a loud creaking/banging noise. Tried spraying wd40 on hinges made no difference. Any ideas

Its usually the door check thats gone. Grease rarely seems to help ime.

Yeah replace the door check strap with a new one, not too bad a job just had to do it on mine.

No just replace. Very easy to do and not too expensive iirc
