drive shaft

The off side drive shaft is on its way out on my 172 cup. Where is the best place to buy one? I cant send mine to be reconditioned as I need the car for work.

Theres a few on ebay at the moment, buy one of them and send it off to be refurbished.

Driveshafts can be repaired? Can someone explain how this works , this refurbishing ?
I gues this will save you a lot of $$ ?

I have seen the opnes on ebay, 1 guy had said they were "reconditioned" but when I asked what had been doen he said just the gaitors replaced. I think it costs about £125 + Vat for my ones to be reconditoned but wasn't sure if you could buy them new for a similar cost?

I know a place in worcester that did mine, completly stripped them down and rebuilt with new parts and then sprayed and brand new gaitors fitted.
