  E36 Coupe & Mk4 Golf
Hello, im after some advice really after washing my car i normally use a chamois leather by autoglym. Have been doing a few searches on here and read up about drying towels, do you just literally just dry the car with it the straight away? any advice?
Thanks

Richy out cleaning habits seem far to similar. lol.

I tend to just lay the CYC towel on the paint, or dab it around.

I use both, the big blue one for mopping up most of the water (which there shouldn't be a lot of anyway if the car is protected u.e waxed)...then I use the fuffly one with my QD.

I can't see how laying it on could be bad, if it was laid on for a few seconds to mop up most of the water and then "rubbed" across the paint (so to speak) you'd still get the same result...a dry car.

+1 on how it's bad laying it on.

Hard pressure and a rotary motion will probably be far worse.

Need one of those I4D towels, I've not had a towel in ages :(

How does everyone store there's? Drying the towel etc once used?

RE storage, I keep it sealed in the buckets with the lids on. Keeps crap out etc etc.

+1 for sheeting the water with an open-hose first though.. if your car is well protected, there should be very little water remaning afterwards.
