DS2500 build up

had some DS2500 pads in my valver for about 500 miles. they are well bedded in. Recently ive noticed that when i get in my car and its cold i get this grinding sound from the brakes for a while. It doesnt last long.

At the weekend i was swapping the wheels front to back and i noticed some grey sort of build up on the discs. It comes off quite easily.
anybody else have this sort of thing?

Yeah, I get more dust now I've got DS2500s. Just have to clean my wheels more often I guess. A price worth paying.

The grinding I hear every morning/night, is the rust being cleared from the discs. A few solid decent length braking attempts is usually enought to clear mine.

Check your discs before you drive next time...see if they're rusty.

i thought the ds2500's were meant to give off less brake dust?
