Yep It goes on the brake vacuum pipe, near as poss to the manifold.
Worked well on mine, different people will say different things i expect.
quite fiddly to fit in there as its between the throttle body and engine bay.
Make sure you put jubilee clips around the pipes ( not to tight either) so it cant come off.
because of the design of the inlet manifold on the 1.4RT then personally i wouldnt recommend one
it branches off immediately and the vacuum servo hose you have to use is offset to one side, meaning the air it draws in will only be used by half of the engine, also meaning the air / fuel ratio will probably be totally out....

Thats a bit posh... Bruns not the first person ive heard say that, save yourself the £45 or whatever unless you already have it.
Mine made the engine smoother, but sometimes things like this are in your head.
