not noticeable look wise to the standard spring??

youd have to be an anorak to notice and IIRC the springs are black. i take it you might be "forgetting" to mention them to insurance or her indoors ?

As they are not fitted yet its hard to tell but they are noticeable on other 172s I have seen.

But then im as loony says an "annorak"

you definately wont have to worry with speed bumps even when i had my coilovers it didnt hit them if taken at a sensible speed.

I only have to worry with mine on big bumps and curbs but thats only cos of the cup splitter.

If you need help fitting them give me a shout.

Dont worry at all my cars about the same as a 172 lowered 35mm and Ive hit big speed humps when I had the suspension fited at almost 30mph with no problems.
