Euro Car Parts 172 Strut top mounts.

I called euro car parts on Wednesday and asked if they did the strut top mount including bearing for a 172 Clio, they asked for my reg and when entered into their sysyem brought up a 2.0L 16v Clio Cup. They said they could deliver both parts for £21.54, so I ordered a pair.

This is what turned up yesterday...

Doesn't look at all like what I expected to see, is the bearing built into the rubber mount, there is definately a metal disc of some sort inside. Also it states it will also suit a kangoo.

I'm thinking this won't fit a 172?

They do actually look like they will fit, just take it I am missing the bearing? The w****r certainly told me both parts were included, mount and bearing.

Looks like you're just missing the bearing. The ones we do are Ruville and come with the bearing

Are top mounts the same across the clio range? Did they not differ fon the 172?

You never sent them back!

They're only listed against mk2 clio models except 172/182 and V6. Have been sold for the 172/182's before, but I think it's advisable to go to Renault on them.
