I thought mines was okay, xenons auto lights auto wipers.

Nice enough inside.

Steering wheel the size of a small country ;)

Fair play. I remember my first car. Within 3 hours it was upside down in a field facing the way I'd just come. Enjoy and drive safe! ;)

My first car was a Dynamique 1.2 16v. It was mint at first, I turned it into a shed.

Still, it was a great first car. Looks good buddy.

Different interior. The extremes have the same shape seats as a dynamique, but are coloured differently.
Extreme - Blue
Extreme 2 - Red
Extreme 3 - Barcode
Extreme 4 - Blue

Also, there were a few cutbacks with extras (i think). Mine didn't come with electric mirrors or a set of speakers in the rear, had to get some speakers and wire them up myself for my extreme 2

Cheers guys :)
Having a few problems however...
When it was delivered earlier today, it started first time and ran fine.
Now, basically, it just clicks and makes funny noises :/
The STOP light is on and a few others cant remember.
Also, the immobiliser light is meant to go pretty much as the ignition is turned on isnt it?
Mine stays on for a while and dissapears sometimes :/

Anyone have any ideas? Phoned seller and told him and he's willing to return money and fix it.

Cheers

So, you put the key in, immobiliser off right? Turn key to start the car, turn key to full ignition and it just clicks? Does the starter motor go?

Clicking sounds like a flat battery :)

You need to understand what has caused it to go flat though. Try jump starting from another car or recharging battery. If it starts, great, but then go around the car whilst it's off and try and spot anything that may be draining power like the bootlight (classic problem on Mark1's). When you open the rear hatch tehre will be a black plastic button you can press down, press it down, is the bootlight off now? If so, that's good. Did you leave lights on?

If nothing is draining it it could be that you have a duff alternator or battery.

Either that or you have a classic immobiliser issue. You could try a trick I heard here, leave the key in the 'on' position for a minute and walk off, come back and try starting then...

I am not so good with the newer Clio's :(

Yeah it just clicks, no starter motor. I first thought battery, but if it was that flat, would the radio etc still work?

Im trying to get the dealer to sort it atm but not getting anywhere :|

Thanks

Steering wheel is hooooooooooj, will most probably change it at some point. :)

Starting problem is fixed!!!! Was just the battery,

When would you recommend getting the belt changed, its 52 plate 56k? Bare in mind it wont be driven for a few months.

Cambelts should be changed after 5 years or 72k on your car. Given the age, i'd get it changed ASAP unless its already been done

  Barge
Yep. Check your service book to see if it's been done. If it hasn't I'd consider getting it done soon as they perish.

Nothing about cambelt in service book. Problem is, its gonna be SORN for a few months and cant get it anywhere to be done.

Will it be ok til I put back on the road and get a full service done?
