Hi all im new round here. Jusst traded mty old crx in for a 172 cup 52 plate with 25k on the clock. Its in good nick except a couple of curbed alloys that need sorting. I must say what a car i was a bit apprehensive havin a renault after a honda but so far so good except i think the common fault of the engine mount failing is happenin to mine (heavy knock on acceleration). From using the search im thinkin of a couple of mods maybe the hidden stealth exhaust and a replacement filter ITG?

The engine mounts failing are quite a common fault on the 172's

I'm not to sure mate, i don't know if the engine mounts fail [break] due to the weight of the 2.0 lump of the due to the sharper acceleration.
