Fitting ph2 boot lock onto ph1

is it possible to fit a ph2 boot button/surround onto a ph1, as pictured below

I have one on mine, not sure about fitting it though.

I'd imagine not, it's a lot bigger than the PH1 one and possibly a different fitting. I don't see why the holes for the ph2 boot lock would be there in the ph1 one.
