Fog light mod?

I have just fitted some PH2 rear lights to the mobile, but I never noticed this until I was testing the lights; only the left side rear fog comes on. I'm almost certain that it was like this with the old lights.
Is there any rewire mod that would allow for both side foglights to come on?

Isn't one the fog and the other the reverse light?

Nope, on the phase two lights, the fog is the very top light. The reverse lights are part of the clear circle in the middle.

think he means on the ph1 lights, you have 1 reverse light and 1 fog light. The only way would be to link the cabling over to the second light?

Think you have to link a cable over like daz said even though each side as 6 wires and 6 connectors and both lights have a bulb in them, the pink wire (not to be confused with violet) is the fog light wire.

I think I might try running another wire like you said externally at first, and see if it works reliably. Thanks for your help.

On the Mk1 clio's you only need to remove the blanking plug from the lense and fit a bulb to the holder and you have two foglights!

Actually, Thinking about it, if you only have one foglight is should be on the drivers side, so you should have both and you need to find the reason the drivers one isn't working.

did you change the wires over as per this wonderfull guide from fUbAr??

I cant remember if we are ment to have 2 fogs working on our Ph1's, I remember the person who I bought my ph2 rear lights from saying about something on ours only 1 work's but not sure if it was the fogs or the reverse lights sorry...

no just one on our mk2 ph1's although mine is the driver side one :S

its the drivers side one that SHOULD come on

both mine come on, (ph1 with ph2 lights), and that was on standard wiring, with a bulb in either side.

hmmm

the one thing i will say, and have said ever since seeing the wiring diagrams going around the internet. My wiring colours went the same as in the guides...

Which i've never understood.
