Front 182 wheel bearing. Easy to remove?

Got a new front wheel bearing the other day (thanks again Chris! ) and was thinking of swapping it over this coming weekend.

Is it a straight-forward job and would I need to get the tracking looked at again afterwards? Would a replacment bearing even affect the tracking? (goddamn n00b! )

wheel alignment should stay the same depending on how bad the bearing is

easy if you have a 20ton press, if not best of luck!

Cheers Fred. Sounds like a garage job without that press then!

With the right kit, is it a quick turnaround for a garage? Or is it quite time intensive?

i would get the whole thing into pieces and take the hub down to your local garage and ask them to push out the bearing and put in the new one, only a 5 min job with the right tool, worth giving them a tenner rather than dicking about all day ;-)
